Designing a smart kitchen demands a critical understanding of the balance between function, storage needs, lighting requirements and of course aesthetics!
Questions like how will the space be used and who will be using the kitchen the most often are important for us to know at OAL.
Notwithstanding the answers to these questions, we understand that the layout of each kitchen must take into consideration the need for easy accessibility between 3 important areas, the refrigerator where food is stored, the cooker, where food is prepared and the sink, where items are washed and cleaned. Correct alignment of these 3 points forms a KITCHEN TRIANGLE’ and though a decades old concept it is still relevant today in modern kitchens. The convenience of having these 3 important areas of meal production no more than a few steps away from each other
